Rest days aren't exactly fun...

So, I've been away for a few days. No, it isn't because the blogging-honeymoon is over..

On Tuesday night, I was at The Official Election Night Watch Party here in Chicago (guess that gives away my political preference). It was beyond amazing to see history in the making. But, a negative effect...the sinus infection/cold that I've been fighting for two weeks is now full-blown! I took off school (work) yesterday, knowing that I needed to rest of I'd be super-sick. Today, I woke up absolutely miserable! My regular doctor is out of town. I went to a walk in clinic, the r.n.p. saw me and told me that it was probably just a sinus infection and to take over the counter medicine (although she THEN says...see your i.d. an insurance...then...tells me that she doesn't take my insurance. Therefore, she didn't even finish the exam..) Needless to say, I left in tears. I took some sinus medicine and Arbonne Detox Tea. I'm actually feeling a lot better. I just hope I don't have to miss anymore work OR gym time! I HATE missing workouts and I've missed two days now. Wah!

I have a VERY hard time resting and doing nothing. I can't just sleep all day. I have put away laundry, vacuumed and straightened the house. I suppose I should do what people normally do on sick/rest days and actually rest. cringe. ugh. bummer.

One awesome thing about today...
I got my first order of my Arbonne products! My plan is to start on Saturday (since I'm sick today and have family in town tomorrow night); I want to make sure to start on the right foot (or left, if that's the most successful one..). Anyway, here's my first order! I'll be sure to let you know how it's going. Keep checking back for posts in the FG Nutrition section!
